Comfrey

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), or Knitbone, is one of the most powerful skin and bone healing agents known. Its roots and leaves contain exceptionally high levels of allantoin—a cell-proliferant compound that stimulates rapid cell division and accelerates tissue and bone regeneration. It also contains abundant mucilage and rosmarinic acid, which quickly reduce inflammation, swelling, and localized pain in sprains and closed fractures.
