Buckwheat

Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) herb and leaves are a premier source of rutin, a powerful antioxidant bioflavonoid. Rutin strengthens capillary walls, reduces vascular permeability, and prevents fluid leakage into surrounding tissues, which dramatically decreases edema and pain in chronic venous insufficiency. Consuming buckwheat seeds also provides magnesium and soluble fiber that support healthy blood pressure and lipid metabolism.
