Bee Balm (Monarda didyma), or Oswego Tea, is an aromatic perennial herb in the mint family. It is rich in thymol, carvacrol, and active monoterpenes, which provide potent antimicrobial, spasmolytic, and carminative effects. Traditionally used by Native Americans, it helps soothe gastrointestinal discomfort, calms nervous tension, and serves as an excellent topical antiseptic for stings and bites.
