Coltsfoot

Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) is a traditional respiratory herb rich in soothing mucilage polysaccharides, flavonoids, and bitter principles. Its abundant mucilage forms a highly viscous, protective coating over raw, irritated mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, immediately calming dry, tickly coughs and soothing hoarse laryngitis. It also thins stubborn bronchial secretions to ease expectoration.
